Some Background Information

Suffield Meadow South Condominiums in Suffield, CT,  are located in the Connecticut River Valley with the town of Enfield neighboring to the east. Suffield is on the west bank of the Connecticut River, 8 miles (13 km) south of the river's largest city, Springfield, Massachusetts, and 16 miles (26 km) north of Connecticut's capital, Hartford. A popular crossroad is Route I-190 and the Enfield-Suffield Veterans Bridge. 

The town's public school system, Suffield Public Schools, includes Spaulding Elementary School, McAlister Intermediate School, Suffield Middle School, and Suffield High School. Suffield is also the home of Suffield Academy, a private coeducational preparatory school.

 

Suffield Meadow South Condominium Association is a community of home owners. The development was built in 1987 with a total of 64 Condominium residences.

Our neighborhood provides a unique and extraordinary setting against a backdrop of large trees, rich greenery, paved sidewalks and abundant green spaces. With a focus on low-maintenance living and amenities, Suffield Meadow South has spacious and bright condominium clusters, each housing 5 various sized condominium units. All homes are town-house style. Some 25 units have a garage and an assigned parking space. 39 units without a garage, have two assigned parking spaces conveniently located.

In 2011, new siding was installed, and during the summer of 2018, new roofs were installed.

 

The monthly association fees include weekly lawn care, seasonal fertilization/weed prevention, and new mulch around the residences and community buildings. Also included in the fee is the Master Insurance Policy which covers some of the common elements of the buildings.

In the winter, snow is plowed in a timely manner from all parking spaces, roadways and sidewalks. The fees cover the complete maintenance of the various common areas and extensive grounds.

A sheltered mailbox is conveniently located on the side of the main entrance road.
